FOCUS • NOVEMBER/DECEMBER 2025
A welcoming and loving community of faith that learns, grows, and serves together
The holiday season is upon us! The air is cooler, our classrooms are cozy,
and the children are brimming with curiosity, creativity, and joy. We’ve loved
watching the magic of fall unfold at Seedlings—from crunchy leaves on the
playground to cozy classroom crafts and giggles that fill our halls.
In the Classroom
Our Seedlings have been exploring all things autumn—counting pumpkins,
painting with fall colors, and learning about kindness and gratitude. We’ve also
started talking about family traditions, celebrations, and the many ways people
share joy around the world this time of year.
It’s been wonderful to see how much independence our little ones are gaining—
zipping jackets, helping friends clean up, and using their words to express
feelings and friendship.
November Happenings
This month is filled with celebration and community!
Throughout November, we’ll focus on gratitude—what it means to share, to
help, and to appreciate all the people who make our lives special.
December Celebrations
December is always a joyful time at Seedlings! We’ll be learning about and
celebrating different holidays from around the world to help children understand
the beauty of diverse traditions.
Here’s what’s coming up:
Hanukkah Exploration – stories, songs, and dreidel games
Winter Solstice Crafts – celebrating light and nature’s changes
Christmas Cheer – tree decorating, cozy story time, and lots of singing
Our classrooms will be filled with music, lights, and laughter as we wrap up the
year together.
With Gratitude
As we move into this season of giving and reflection, our hearts are full. We’re
endlessly thankful for our amazing Seedlings families, our joyful students, and
our dedicated teachers who make every day special.
Wishing you and your family a season filled with warmth, laughter, and love.

Welcoming Our International Scholar: Rev. Joby Joy
We are excited to share that our church will be welcoming Rev. Joby Joy as an International Scholar
volunteer this coming year. This program is designed to help congregations like ours meaningfully connect
with the global church by building personal relationships with leaders who bring wisdom and experience
from other parts of the world.
Rev. Joy comes to us from India, where the church is both vibrant and growing in remarkable ways.
His presence among us will be a gift, offering fresh insights into how God is at work in different cultural
contexts and reminding us that the body of Christ is larger and more diverse than we can see on Sunday
mornings.
Rev. Joy joined us in worship on World Communion on October 5 as we celebrated Christ’s table alongside Christians around
the world. Throughout his time here, he will share in the life of our congregation through worship, teaching, and fellowship.
This is a unique opportunity for us not only to extend hospitality but also to listen, learn, and deepen our understanding of
what it means to belong to the global family of faith. We look forward to welcoming Rev. Joy into our community and to the
many ways God will bless us through this new relationship.
